ProblemQuotes
You know how it goes. An inquiry comes in, and then the hunt begins: old quotes to dig through, line items to copy, prices to look up, formatting to fix. By the time the quote reaches the customer a few days have gone by, and sometimes somebody else has the job already.
Someone types up the details from the inquiry, copies matching line items from an earlier quote and works out quantities and prices one by one. Chances are only two or three people in your business really know what a good quote looks like. They're also the ones with the least time.
So they write quotes in the evening, and anything that doesn't feel urgent waits. The customer waits too, chases you once or twice, and in the end goes with whoever answered first.
